Everything the plant needs to stop guessing
From batch rheology to final grade, Treadum replaces spot checks and fixed recipes with continuous measurement, prediction and bounded correction — on the equipment you already run.
Coverage across the plant
See what the line is actually doing
Coverage first. You cannot control what you only sample.
Line-scan and area vision
Continuous surface inspection of tread, sidewall, innerliner and green tire for bare spots, folds, contamination and placement error.
X-ray fusion
Cord shift, cord spacing, belt edge and bead geometry read from X-ray and aligned with build evidence so the finding points at a station.
Shearography
Separation and bubble signatures fused with X-ray and thermal to raise confidence and cut false holds.
Thermal and cure sensing
Press temperature and pressure traces, mold thermal signature and post-cure surface thermal used for cure-state estimation.
Rheology and dispersion
Mixer energy, torque, temperature curve and downstream test data modeled into a live batch quality estimate instead of an end-of-batch lab wait.
Uniformity and balance
Radial and lateral force variation, conicity, ply steer and balance captured at grading and mapped back to upstream causes.
Close the loop, inside the envelope
Every control feature writes only through limits your engineers signed.
Adaptive mix control
Mix time, feed rates and energy target adjusted per batch against the compound spec instead of a fixed clock.
Gauge and profile control
Extrusion die and calender roll corrections that hold tread and sidewall gauge, width and profile through speed and temperature changes.
Splice and placement control
Drum tension, placement offset and index timing corrected per component with open-splice risk scored before the tire moves.
Adaptive cure
Dwell adapted to estimated cure state, batch rheology and mold history, with hard bounds and per-construction limits.
Robotic handling
Green-tire positioning, press load and unload and AGV routing sequenced under one motion plan with envelope-checked actions.
Takt and line balancing
WIP movement, mold allocation and cure sequencing solved together so the constraint sits where the plant wants it.
The parts that get better every week
Prediction, retrieval and memory are what turn a control system into an operations layer.
Grade before grading
Uniformity, cure escape and defect risk predicted from upstream evidence, so a bad tire is prevented at the drum rather than sorted at the end of the line.
Equipment health
Time-series prognostics on mixers, extruders, drums and presses surface drift before it becomes downtime or scrap.
Ask the plant a question
Grounded question answering over recipes, build and cure specs, standards and procedures, with citations on every answer.
The craft, captured
Per-plant yield and quality history plus per-builder and per-engineer performance memory preserve the judgement that retires with your senior builders.
Rare defects, on demand
Labeled synthetic variants of splice-open, bubble, separation, bare spot, cord shift and mold contamination, validated against real signatures before training use.
Try the change in software
Evaluate a construction, compound or schedule change against uniformity, quality, energy and takt before committing it to the floor.

Traceability that answers the question in minutes
From one suspect tire to the exact population
Because every tire is linked to its compound batch, component rolls, builder, drum, press, mold, cure trace and inspection images, scoping a suspect population is a query — not a week of spreadsheet archaeology.
- Forward and backward trace from any entity
- Inspection imagery attached to the record
- Export packages formatted for customer and regulator requests
The daily rhythm on Treadum
- Shift start: Objectives, envelope version and open escalations reviewed in one screen with the shift supervisor.
- Live run: Agents act inside the envelope; holds and escalations surface at the station with the evidence attached.
- Handover: Automatic shift report: yield, scrap, holds, overrides, energy and takt against target, with causes.
- Weekly review: Override reasons and model performance reviewed with process engineering; candidate release gated.
- Quarterly: Envelope re-signed, objectives re-weighted, expansion scoped to the next cell or line.
Which features earn their keep first
“We had three people watching X-ray images and still shipped uniformity rejects. Treadum flagged the cord shift at the building drum, not four hours later at final inspection.”
“The cure agent found 40 seconds of margin on a construction we had run the same way for eleven years. It proved it in shadow mode before it touched a press.”
“Genealogy is the part I did not expect to care about. Every tire now has a linked record from batch to grade, and audit prep went from weeks to an afternoon.”

What features are held to
Details plants ask about
Where a vendor exposes nothing, we read via frame grabber, file drop or direct sensor tap and write through your PLC layer rather than the machine. Some legacy assets stay read-only, and that is often enough for the wedge metric.
Yes. The mixing, extrusion, calendering, curing and inspection agents apply to hoses, belts, seals and technical rubber goods. Building, splice and uniformity are tire-specific.
Yes. Station views show the current call, the evidence and the action taken, with a one-key path to override. The plant console is the supervisor and engineering view.
More is better, but shadow mode does not depend on it. Perception features work from live streams; site-specific cure, rheology and uniformity models improve fastest with 12+ months of linked history. [ASPIRATIONAL]
Put one cell on autonomy in 90 days
Pick one wedge — splice inspection, X-ray defect detection, cure-state optimization or uniformity prediction. We baseline it, run shadow mode, then graduate to bounded autonomy under a signed control envelope.
Pilots start in shadow mode. No line changes until accuracy and safety gates pass.
